Heya to all,

I’m feeling really jag lag – I’m still in the Christmas mood, while the whole world is busy with the New Year countdown and Chinese New Year. Don’t get me wrong I love CNY [ gOoD FoODiE & GoOdiEs] , but it’s a little too much for me to take – a person still living in Christmas.

I’m listening to the most wonderful tune of all – from the Countdown Drama CD, Track 5, a song from the Korean show 'success story of a girl'. Frankly speaking, I’m still at DISC 1 and had never gone further then this track. It’s just so sad yet so beautiful. So i don't think tt i will go on and listen to disc 2 nor the josh CD as yet. Anyway, this blog entry is a little reflection of the 11 things [my other fav number] that I learnt this year – 2003. So here goes:

11. Turn Left Turn Right – Unfortunately, this seemingly is true and has been happening to me… how sad!

10. Kindness works like ripple – It may start with a simple ecard, but it has spread to many acts of kindness that one card may bring. A little flame that lights and warms everyone around.
No matter how busy we are, it's not an excuse to spent sometime making other people happy. For true happiness is found in the smiles of others.

9. God’s love is everywhere - Angels are in the people around us brightening up our lives. Only if we allow HIS love to shine in us. This year, my angels are:

[Reuben] for some reason, u always managed to sms at the right time. A nice chat with you always brighten up my life.
[Calista] I’m not too sure, but I always felt tt u are a really special friend. Although we don’t talk much nor see each other, there is always a special affiliation that I can always share any of my problems with.
[Carmen] Always, she date me at my times of stressness. Thanks for bearing all my crap and my stressed up expression. Thanks for distressing me =0) For everything, thanks *HUGS*
[Sandra] Thanks for being a friend – listening to all my crap and suaning =0)
[Valerie] Thanks for being a real pal … being my listening ear though the many years of ups and downs *well, she doesn’t have this blog address so it’s just a silent tribute for the friendship tt we share*
[Darius, Julian, Joseph and Julie] Life is much brighter knowing you guys.
[to all] Hey if they are not named, please don’t think tt you are less impt =0)

8. Appreciate the people around us – Friendship is far more important that anything in this world. So don’t find fault with your friends or the people you love over little petty, even though they don’t appreciate anything tt you do.
Treasure the people around us in the view that they may be there forever.

7. I’m a really light sleeper – I couldn’t sleep in Sabah cause of some lady snoring. At a different angle she snores a different key at a different rhythm – a symphonic with many different movement

6. Choose a God-fearing partner – That’s something I already know but re-enforced in Sabah.. Whahha – sounds like marriage encounter. Anyway, you can’t love someone unless you start to love yourself and show that u are capable of loving… Don’t believe, try to balance this equation up ‘Love one another as u would love yourself’ =0)

5. Take care of your health – Unless you take care of yourself, you will not be able to do God’s work properly. Takes me a Sabah trip to realize tt – so amazing huh. I think luke would be laughing and nodding his head. [Luke] Right?

4. It takes a whole lot of effort to forgive as well as to gain forgiveness – It’s hard to forgive cuz you have to learn to put down all the hurtful situations, yet at the same time, in gaining forgiveness – there is a lot of pride bring involved.
It takes a lot of energy to hate a person.
And it takes even more energy to love a person.
So why don't u invest a little more energy to love that person
making yourself a better person and the world a better place

3. Life is full of choices, so choose wisely – Something tt we have … Free will. We can choose to be happy or lead a life in depression. No one is going to make us happy but ourselves. Similarly, we can choose to hate the people around us and make ourselves a hatefully person and our lives miserable OR we can choose to love the people around us. The problem here is WISELY =0)

2. Prayer works – In the toughest and most hopeless situation, never give up praying, cuz God didn’t give up on us so we should never give up on the people around us or on ourselves. It’s in God’s time tt prayers are answered.

1. The best way to love someone is letting the person go – The greatest and the most selfless way of loving someone is to let the person go. This is true in love life and for the people around me. For I have realized that I have never let my Grandpa go even though he is gone for so long. It’s really selfish to want him to live forever in pain of sickness and old age. Maybe that is the reason why I like winter sonata – for the guy choose to leave the gal because he loves her. This is a love – a selfless love - that truly loves the person, sparing a thought for the other party’s happiness.

With this little reflection, I hope no one is tired out reading it as yet. Now, my little list of things that I want to accomplished the next year, 2004.
1. Build my health back and gain more weight
2. To find time for myself and to properly learn the violin
3. Give tuition and earn some money
I hope tt I get to see some things tt u guys have learn throughout the year and some new year resolution. =0)
